SocialSafety Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 July, 2025

At SocialSafety, privacy is not a feature — it is a foundational right. We are committed to protecting your personal information through clear, respectful, and transparent practices. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and your rights as a member.

1. No Tracking

  • We do not track your activity on SocialSafety, or across any other websites, apps, or platforms.
  • Your behavior is not recorded, profiled, or analyzed.

To maintain a safe and respectful environment:
- If a member reports abuse or harmful conduct, SocialSafety moderators may review the reported content and investigate the account involved.
- This investigation is limited to the reported material and does not involve behavioral tracking, profiling, or third-party monitoring.
- If the breach is serious, or if illegal activity is suspected, the matter will be escalated to the appropriate legal or regulatory authorities.

We handle all investigations discreetly and only when necessary to protect the safety and dignity of our community.

2. No Ads or Sponsored Content

SocialSafety.ca does not host third-party advertisements, sponsored posts, affiliate links, or any form of commercial targeting.
We do not accept paid placements or allow algorithmically promoted content.

PLEASE NOTE
SocialSafety includes a member-driven section called MarketSpace, where members can post their own listings or community notices.
These listings:
- Are visible only by choice and are not promoted, sorted, or ranked by the platform.
- Are not monetized by SocialSafety in any way.
- Are optional and controlled entirely by the posting member.

3. No Algorithms

Your experience is not manipulated by predictive algorithms.
There are no recommendation engines or automated feeds influencing what you see or engage with.
